We currently have two different types of educational licences available: –
• Sage Education Packs – for use in the classroom
• Sage Student Study Packs – to help Students practise at home
Who’s it for?
If you are in a Government-recognised educational establishment, in the independent orvstate sector, then you can buy Sage Education licences and discounted Sage software for
in-house use in your establishment.
Other Establishments
In addition, the following establishments are also able to purchase Sage Educational Licences: –
• A not-for-profit full-time teaching institution/organisation which is non-academic and/or
non-government recognised
• A not-for-profit charitable organisation whose aim is the advancement of education or
vocational job training
Licence & Installation
The software includes a single-user licence – this means that it does not allow more than one person to work with a single company data file at the same time.
You can install the Education software on as many PCs as you need at an individual training site. If you would like to use the software to teach students at multiple sites, you will need to
purchase a separate Education licence for each location.
Network Access
The software is designed to be installed locally on each PC, giving each user access to up to 5 individual sets of Company data.
If the Classroom PCs you will be teaching on use a Terminal or Citrix Server, rather than a local hard drive you may not find the Education licence suitable as it will only allow one
person to access a set of Company data at a time.
Students
Educational establishments using a Sage Education Pack to teach their students can order a Sage Student Study Pack on their student’s behalf, to help them practice at home or
