Sage wins prestigious Software Provider of the year award.

On Monday 9th December 2013 ICB (Institute of Certified Bookers) held their annual bookkeeping awards ceremony which was held at Lancaster House, London.
This year was the first time they had a category for software provider of the year. ICB contacted their 24,000 + members to vote for their favoured software provider. There were 4 other vendors in this category and Sage won with 38% of the votes which was a remarkable achievement.
As a Sage business partner we are delighted to know that a large percentage of ICBs members see Sage Software as the choice for their business. We’ve always believed Sage are still the market leader when it comes to Accounts and Payroll software so it’s nice to see plenty of others still do.
The award (described as the Oscars of the bookkeeping world) was presented by his Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, ICB Global’s Royal Patron.
I was honoured and felt privileged to attend this ceremony and the three previous ones and I have to say the ICB sure do know how to put an event on. Getting to actually meet and chat with his Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent this year was the highlight for me.
I would also like to congratulate the winners of all the awards this year and in particular Training Link, a business partner of ours that provide ICB courses for anyone looking to become a professional bookkeeper. They held on to the most sort after Training provider of the year award.
